HSBC and Ashoka launched the Together Towards Tomorrow global innovation challenge to inspire changemakers worldwide to propose initiatives for fostering intergenerational collaboration and activating young leaders. Our task was to develop a visual identity and communication strategy that reflected the challenge’s core values—different generations working together for a better future. We needed a bold, engaging, and adaptable visual language that could communicate across regions and platforms, inspiring participation from changemakers around the globe.

We delivered a comprehensive visual identity and communication package for the Together Towards Tomorrow challenge, focusing on creating an impactful, globally adaptable design system.
Our visual identity centered on intergenerational collaboration, featuring diverse imagery of people from various generations working together. This symbolism reflected the challenge’s emphasis on equity, empathy, and social change. We curated a friendly and bold color palette with bright tones to attract attention and instill a sense of positivity and energy. To emphasize the challenge’s global reach, we incorporated visuals that connected to different regions, showcasing changemakers from around the world and reinforcing the message that anyone can make a difference. The adaptable design system ensured the visuals could work seamlessly across digital platforms, social media, and physical events.
To support our strategy, we developed a full suite of social media posts and digital assets that promoted the challenge in line with the vibrant visual identity. This content was designed to be shareable and engaging, encouraging participation and amplifying the message of global collaboration for social impact.
